Who is Melody McArthur?
Melody McArthur is a singer, songwriter & live theatre actress originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. With a background in musical theatre, including the lead role in the first ever all-Indigenous casted musical Bear Grease to feature on Playbill during their summer 2025 Off-Broadway New York City run, Melody brings a unique blend of genres, lyrical content, and production to her songs, brand, and overall creative essense. Melody's highlight career moments including her Off-Broadway debut in 2025, receiving the Edify Magazine Top 40 Under 40 Class of 2023, the 2025 University of Alberta Horizon Alumni Award, and performances across North America in some of the most prestigious venues including - but certainly not limited to - National Arts Centre (Ottawa, ON), Burton Cummings Theatre (Winnipeg, MB), Winspear Centre (Edmonton, AB), Citadel Theatre (Edmonton, AB), National Music Centre (Calgary, AB), and Saint Luke's Theater (New York City, Off-Broadway, NY).
